Appleton, WI - Fox Valley Transit, a bus service connecting the Fox Cities has announced a new service that will provide more security and will let those in wheelchairs to go freely as they want.

The new device is called Quantum, something that has been in the works for over 10 years.

Quantum is an automatic rear-facing system that secures wheelchairs in busses. If the bus driver hits the breaks, the individual will go deeper in the device and allow for a securer connection.

The device is said to cost $2,000 and 10 busses are said to have the system by Labor Day.

A demonstration of the system was live on 'Valley Transit's' facebook page this morning, which you can view here.
