Garage Catches Fire In Shiocton

Shiocton, Wisconsin- The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office responded to a fire at W8790 Lower Road at about 6:04 A.M. Saturday morning.

The Shiocton-Bovina Fire Department arrived at the scene to find smoke coming from the garage.

Firefighters quickly fought the fire and kept it from spreading to the house.

The fire is believed to have started after a weed-wacker charger that was plugged into the wall started to overheat and melt. That spread to the nearby garbage can that had a quart of oil on top of it.

Nobody was injured in the fire.
