Shiocton, Wisconsin- Orange cones have been placed and construction vehicles are moving at the construction site behind Shiocton High School where there will be a multi-purpose facility.
Shiocton School District Superintendent Nichole Schweitzer says that crews have been taking advantage of the recent warm and sunny weather. She added that they are still on-schedule to finish in five months.
The multi-purpose facility will contain a gymnasium taking up one half of the building and a fitness center will take up the other half.
The facility will not only be open to students but also the community. The fitness and weight room will be open everyday before and after school, as well as weekdays from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. The building will also be open on the weekends.
